Waste-To-Energy plant at the Oristeam site

The AC Boilers team has successfully completed the lift of the radiant section of the new 65 MWe Waste-To-Energy (WTE) plant at the Oristeam site (Ivry–Paris XIII).
This challenging operation started well before the actual lift, but back in the complex preparation phases. The strategic decision to complete the pre-assembly at ground level has required meticulous planning. Coordinating and optimizing the pre-assembly phases on the ground drove us to reach a total weight of 220 tons, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards, despite significant logistical complexity on-site.
The handling of a massive component has been performed through the combined use of two 750 tons Liebherr cranes, enabling the precise placement of the radiant section—with extremely tight tolerances—over the boiler structure.
🎬 The video shows the key phases of this activity: from the construction site space management to the final perfect alignment. We would like to thank our Client for the trust on us, the whole AC Boilers team and all the partners involved for their dedication and professionalism throughout all this complex operation.
