Europower signed in July a contract to supply to “IPZS – Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato” (IPZS – Italian State Mint and Polygraphic Institute) a solution consisting of a cogeneration plant with a gas turbine of approximately 7MWe, a sludge drying plant, absorption chillers and photovoltaic car ports with charging points.
The project is part of the industrial plan of IPZS to achieve an energy, economic and environmental optimization of the production at the Foggia (Italy) factory. The contract involves the construction and five-year maintenance of the plant.
